Getting serious now… the purchase of my first racing kit: the Tamiya au TOM’s GR Supra. Looks fantastic on the box and on the Tamiya website, but not sure that my painting abilities will this car justice. Although my plan is to come up with my own paint scheme…

This wasn’t my first choice of car though. Early in 2025 I was looking to jump ‘straight in’ with a top-spec Touring Car and go all-in, but as I spent more time thinking and considering, I decided to start with the Tamiya class and build up to something higher – cut my teeth on the lower-cost cars and see if this was something to invest more time, effort and cash in.

Researching a new hobby is fun and the Internet is essential. However, there’s not a lot of ‘current’ content out there which I could find relating to radio-controlled racing so I thought I’d create this site to capture what I’ve found and share it with others. Let’s see where and how this goes…
